We are making progress!

Hi! How are you?

After a long time, finally, all groups from Portugal decided to start working seriously.
And you?

For the third week, we met on a Wednesday afternoon to work on our projects.
We’re very tired, but, we did several things and we shared so many ideas!

We organized action plans, and decided what we wanted to do.

For example, my group (Green Magazine) has set goals.
We spent an afternoon thinking about the content (news and interviews) of the magazine. We created the index (available below) and we also though it could be nice to have puzzles, quizzes…
We used the concept of “interesting magazine”. Something attractive, that doesn’t make the reader feel bored while reading.

Now, we need a layout.

Anyone has any suggestions?

While working in our project, we also had a look to what other groups were doing.
They’re really striving!

And you?

I’m sure you’re also doing your work. Won’t you share any photos/information?

Second chance?

Hello everyone! I’m Inês and I am working with my friends on the gardening Project (by the way, we’re from Portugal).

So, basically, we decided we were going to spend our vacation at school (if you can call it “vacation”, of course), and we are really happy with the way we’re working.

We found this lovely chest of drawers (with no drawers at all) ready to go to the trash, so we thought: why not give it a second chance?

We colected ideas, made our plans and looked for the flowers we want to use.

And here we are, wishing our plans work the way we want to, and working the way we have to.
Wish us good luck.

Our city, our country...

This video was made by Inês Silva (gardening) and Soraia Ferreira (recycling). The idea was taken from the youtube tag “Draw my life” and we thought it would be a good way to show our city to our colleagues from other countries.
We had a great time doing it, because we wanted the final result to be fun and enjoyable for its viewers.

We hope people get the idea of how many awesome things our culture, country and city have to offer so, sit back… and enjoy it!

Expectations...Ana, Cláudia, Ricardo And Rita

Our expectations are to get to know new cultures that we do not know and share a good communication experience with foreign countries. We hope to help the environment creating different projects with reusable material and we still hope to have great team spirit with our foreign colleagues and with those who go to our school. We want our projects to be models of future.

Expectations...Rita Araújo.

Eco food
It is always important to participate in projects like this because it helps us enriching our knowledge at various levels, by extending our horizons. It gives us the opportunity of being in touch with people from other countries and develop ideas.

A project is a group activity designed to develop ideas using different strategies with an aim: to create something new (an object, service or result). It is possible to have knowledge of the viability and success of this project by the feedback we have had from previous years. It is an interesting project because it focuses on sustainability and business success worrying about the environmental issues.

Expectations...Sara Alexandra

Green Magazine
In this project, I would like to develop new skills related to my area (I am in the project Green Magazine), meet new people with different cultures and improve my English. In addition, I also hope to develop an interesting project, improve my social skills interacting with the others and above all, contribute for such a project in the secondary school of Caldas das Taipas.
